We’re kicking off the first of many DIY Pop-Ups tomorrow at New York Fashion Week, because duhhh, we obviously couldn’t miss the fashion week slayage. We’re throwing ‘Some Warehouse Thing’ in partnership with singer/songwriter and TikTok icon, Abby Roberts!
Ur probably like wtf does DIY pop-up even mean and what does it have to do with u? Well… we’ve picked some of the sickest fashion designers, celebs, and more to throw an exclusive pop-up with us before releasing their avatar fashion line. Our pop-ups are a chance for those invited to collaborate with these creators by DIYing their exclusive collection on the Genies Studio app. If the highlighted creator picks ur spin-off collection as their fav, it will actually be sold in The Warehouse with them. It’s OK if you don’t win, if your fashion designs are sick, u’ll get an invite to become an approved seller on our platform – an opportunity only available to pop-up attendees.
Our approved sellers are people who are selected to create a custom avatar fashion collection and sell it on our digital fashion marketplace. Early next year, everyone will be able to buy, sell, trade, and create their own full fashion lines within our ecosystem. So if you wanna be one of the first, find one of our pop-ups – bc it’s the only way to be invited to become an approved Genies seller for now.

- Show up!
- Get gifted the highlighted creators unreleased avatar fashion collection
- DIY this collection on the Genies Studio app
- Submit ur design in the collab competition
- If urs is the hosts fav, ur collab collection will be sold in The Warehouse
These pop-up’s will come in many different shapes and sizes – whether they’re held at Genies HQ, a trailer in a Taco Bell parking lot, a Hollywood hills rooftop, or a backyard bbq in your local digs, who knows??? One thing we do know is that u’ll def wanna be there.
